Leave a Legacy of Relief

A line in your plans today. Relief still working long after.

Our devices are built to keep working years after they're deployed — no refills, no batteries, no second ask. A legacy gift is the same idea in giving form: one decision now that keeps deploying drug-free relief to people beyond the reach of pharmacies and clinics, far into the future.

Ways to Create a Legacy Gift

In Your Will or Trust

A bequest of a fixed amount, a percentage of your estate, or the residue after loved ones are provided for. Suggested language below — one sentence is all it takes.

Beneficiary Designations

Name Pain Relief International as a full or partial beneficiary of a retirement account, life insurance policy, or bank/investment account. Often no lawyer needed — just a form from your provider.

Give From Your IRA Now

If you're 70½ or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA goes directly to charity, may count toward your required minimum distribution, and is excluded from your taxable income up to the annual IRS limit.

Charitable Trusts & Endowed Gifts

Charitable remainder arrangements and endowed giving plans are handled individually — start with a conversation and bring your advisor.

Unrestricted or Directed

Leave your gift unrestricted (it helps most), or direct it to a program such as the Global Pain Relief Initiative or the Rapid Response Relief Fund.

Assets Work Too

Legacy plans can include appreciated stock and other assets — see Stock & Complex Asset Giving for how those transfer.

Suggested Bequest Language

For You and Your Attorney

For an unrestricted bequest:

"I give, devise, and bequeath to Pain Relief International, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation (EIN 81-2500234), located at 390 W 910 S, Heber City, UT 84032, [the sum of $___ / ___% of my estate / the residue of my estate], for its general charitable purposes."

To direct your gift to a specific program, add: "…designated for [program name], or, if that program no longer exists, for general charitable purposes." That second clause keeps your gift usable no matter how far in the future it arrives.

Nothing on this page is legal or tax advice. Estate laws and tax limits change and every situation differs — please work with your attorney or financial advisor on the details.

Tell Us About Your Plans

If you've included us in your plans — or you're considering it — we'd be honored to know. Sharing your intention creates no binding obligation and can remain entirely confidential; it simply lets us thank you in your lifetime and plan for the future your gift makes possible. Contact us whenever you're ready.

Plan a Legacy of Relief

The people your gift will reach haven't felt it yet. That's the point — a legacy gift is relief you send ahead.
