According to the National Philanthropic Trust's annual DAF Report, more than $250 billion sits in U.S. donor-advised funds — money already set aside for charity, waiting for a destination. DAF Day (October 10) was created by a coalition of giving platforms and community foundations to turn that waiting money into working money, one grant recommendation at a time.

Do I get a tax deduction for this grant?
You already did — the deduction came when you contributed to your donor-advised fund. Recommending a grant costs you nothing more; it simply puts the committed money to work.
Can I give anonymously?
Yes. Most sponsors let you choose full recognition, name only, or complete anonymity when you submit the recommendation.
Can I set up a recurring grant?
Yes — most major sponsors support recurring grant recommendations, and recurring support is especially valuable to us because it makes deployments plannable.
What if my fund can't find Pain Relief International?
Search by EIN 81-2500234. If your sponsor still can't locate us, contact us and we'll supply whatever verification they need.
